We accept payment by Paypal, direct credit to our bank account and cheque.
Credit card transactions by phone or email are at our discretion.
All orders will be shipped once payment has been validated. As a security measure, prior to processing your order we may contact you to manually confirm your address and credit card details.
All goods will be dispatched via Poste Haste Courier or NZ post standard delivery, if you require urgent delivery or overnight service please contact us as there will be a cost for this service.
All goods in stock will be dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your order and payment verified (excluding weekends and Public holidays ). We will advise you if any of your chosen items need to be back-ordered, please allow up to 4 weeks. Items maybe shipped earlier depending on supply.
Delays can occur during peak times such as Christmas and long weekends – please be patient.
If a customer is not present for a delivery, the relevant carrier may leave the goods at the delivery address at the owner’s risk unless we have been requested not to.
Delivery within New Zealand
Delivery for most goods is FREE to any street address within the North and South Island of New Zealand.

Sorry – we get charged so much more to rural delivery addresses that we do have to pass this cost on to you. Providing a business address with a street address is often quicker and more convenient but please contact us if you have no alternative other than to have the goods sent to a rural delivery address.
Delivery is based on standard courier times, 1-2 days to most places in the North Island and 3-5 days to the South Island.
International Delivery
Garhauer Marine NZ Ltd can assure you the goods will be sent overseas in the most economical way. However, International orders may be subject to additional shipping costs. An invoice including freight will be sent by email to you before goods are shipped.
We ship International orders via DHL or NZ Post standard rates and times. If you require express service please contact us to discuss the most efficient means of shipping.
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from our store, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Returns and Refunds
If you find you have selected a product that is not suitable for your purpose (rather than having a product recommended by us), even if you have used it, send it back to us within one month of purchase and we will replace it for the correct size and you pay the difference in price, plus freight to get that replacement to you. Returned goods are your responsibility until they reach either us in NZ (or Garhauer USA – see Goods under guarantee below). We therefore recommend you send them by track and trace post or courier. The cost of returning goods is at your expense. We will refund the value of the item returned; delivery and packaging costs are not refundable. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 4 working days.
Goods returned under Garhauer’s 10 year Guarantee
In the rare event of a product failure it needs to be sent to the Garhauer USA factory, so the manufacturer can ascertain the problem and the need to modify the design. Please include a letter explaining how the product was used, plus the extent of the failure. Please remember to include your delivery address and contact phone number.
Return of Customized Items
In the event of the product being faulty we will replace it. However we do not accept responsibility for custom items ordered incorrectly.
