When buying online from Garhauer Marine NZ Ltd, we hope your Garhauer products exceed all your expectations. However, if you are not entirely satisfied when you receive them, you may send them back to us in the same condition as you received them, unused and in original packaging and we will happily provide you with replacements or refund your money for the purchase price of the goods excluding freight.
This money back guarantee applies to within a 10 business day period of your receiving the goods, unless you have contacted us to make other arrangements.

To qualify to receive our SSL Certificate from Comodo we had to validate ourselves in order to satisfy them that we are a legitimate business. We had to prove not only that we own this web domain, but also that we are a legally accountable company. All goods in stock will be dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your order (excluding weekends). We will advise you if any of your chosen items need to be backordered, please allow up to 4 weeks. Items maybe shipped earlier depending on supply.
Delivery within New Zealand
Delivery for most goods is $10.35 including GST* to any street address within the North and South Island of New Zealand.
Sorry - we get charged so much more to rural delivery addresses. Providing a business address with a street address is often quicker and more convenient but please contact us if you have no alternative other than to have the goods sent to a rural delivery address.
Delivery is based on standard courier times, 1-2 days to most places in the North Island and 3-5 days to the South Island.
Garhauer Marine NZ Ltd can assure you the goods will be sent overseas in the most economical way. However, International orders may be subject to additional shipping costs. An invoice including freight will be sent by email to you before goods are shipped.
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from our store, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Returns and Refunds
If you find you have selected a product that is not suitable for your purpose (rather than having a product recommended by us), even if you have used it, send it back to us within one month of purchase and we will replace it for the correct size and you pay the difference in price, plus freight to get that replacement to you. Returned goods are your responsibility until they reach either us in NZ (or Garhauer USA - see Goods under guarantee below). We therefore recommend you send them by track and trace post or courier. The cost of returning goods is at your expense. We will refund the value of the item returned; delivery and packaging costs are not refundable. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 4 working days
Goods returned under Guarantee
In the rare event of a product failure it needs to be sent to the Garhauer USA factory, so the manufacturer can ascertain the problem and the need to modify the design. A replacement product under the 10 year unconditional guarantee will be sent from the USA. A letter explaining how the product was used, plus the extent of the failure, should be included along with your delivery address and contact phone number. Back Orders for ‘Out Of Stock’ items
In the event of a product being out of stock, we will place your order on back order and advise you of this by email. You may cancel your back order at any time.
